again the simple question becomes topic of conversation
where do we stand
where do i stand
where, if anywhere, is this mess going
nowhere would be typical tradition for us
would i be over ambitious to think we may make it somewhere
somewhere other than here
this limbo we ride like a teeter totter
if i went and fell in love this time
would it come all back again, all the same way
full of awkward events and strange repeat signs
if we fell in love with each other
madly passionate about each other
would one of us quickly fall out of love with the other
in the typical traditional manner for us
