Depressed Kids Get Jealous Too

i look them in the eyes

to look them over and all i see

the oblivion of happiness

the joy of not knowing pain

an ecstacy of a natural drug

a drugged up smille on a sober face

not knowing all the darkness that waits

lost in innocence and ignorance

i look them in the eyes

to look them over just to cry

in jealous rage from my dark home

all alone with my cold and cutting frown

doped up on my sorrow, and all i lack

fear is gone, all is accepted here

life in pain awaits deaths release

and the death of all those happy eyes
