A Shark in the Dark

From afar I see the carnage I have made
Please oh darling be afraid
Let it be a silent warning
Don't be there in the morning

We sit inside while a wild storm rages around us, debri, emotion and flotsam flying
Feeling feelings die inside us

Swim away while you can, try escape from the day to our underwater hide away

Time turns all of us into dust
There is no race there is no escape
To try to run is dead mans game

Forgive my actions my sins and fins
For I'm a shark with one sharp grin
Get too close and feel a bite
I feel no one, nothing and none but time
