A Blessing through You
It's 4:30am, and I am awaken by a glorious sound,
My husband is in the floor calling the Adzan.
First I'm not sure but the strength in his voice confirms what I feel,
Because before my Lord, it is time to kneel.
His words delivered so beautiful and so clear,
Reassures me through this gift from Allah, I have nothing to fear.
As I stumble out of bed to first purify myself,
this time I share with my husband is worth more than wealth.
For when we pray together as a family I know I am truly blessed,
To be given a feeling so pure and strong, who would have ever guessed.
