I've seen evil come out ahead in the long run

I know I'm not the only one



I've seen more love and compassion from people

then I ever thought anyone ever had



I've seen more hatred

In people who were supposed to be my best friends

Then I ever want to see again



I've seen the worst broken heart

Actually fall in love again



I've seen alot more lives fall apart

Then just my own



I've seen people leave

And in a coffin

Is the only way they came home



I've seen the tears

Of confusion and hate



Thank god I seen all of this

Before it was too late

Author's Notes/Comments: 

I've seen horrible things that always come out to be ok, even though I may never have wanted to see them, it is the bad, that can come to be good that will alone keep me believe in faith and hope
