Me and My Girlfriend

All I need in this world of sin, is me and my girlfriend,

Or to be more specific me and my pen.

The girl never turns her back when I need her around,

She knows the exact thing to say when I start feeling down.

She don’t get mad at me when I toss her around,

And there is no cursing when I walk away or set her down.

When I need her she’s there, never left me stranded,

I pour my heart out to her when I start feeling abandoned.

Not once has she laughed or said a word about my tears,

She knows my deepest secrets and has heard all my fears.

When I pick up another pen she doesn’t get jealous,

And she trusts me everytime I go hang out with the fellas.

She’s the one I always turn to let out all the pain,

If it wasn’t for her I don’t know where I’d be-

She’s helped me remain sane.

Through my trials and tribulations, she’s been there for it all,

She’s been there for my up’s and has helped me through my falls.

I go to her and she’s been there time and time again,

Like I said-

All I need in this world of sin is me and my girlfriend.

DOGG, I've been listening to Pac since his verses with Digital Underground and I take his words to heart.
When J/Gay-Z remade this song it was pathetically disrespectful. I like what you did with the piece.
It was TIGHT!

I wrote a poem off of one of Pac's titles
called, "I've Seen Your Soul Before".
I'll send it to you now, playa!
