Silent Tears

You sit inside your room and you cry yourself to sleep,

You begin talking to God as you “pray to Lord your soul to keep”.

And once the prayer commences and you’ve finished talkin to God,

The tears continue to roll down your cheek as you feel it eating you inside.

You dose off eventually and enter into that wonderland,

A place where everything is golden; A place where people understand.

Finally you feel wanted, In this place you are not alone,

You have found where you want to remain, This is where you want to be home.

Then suddenly you hear this buzzing noise that you can not figure out,

Then you realize your still in your room, Still in that same old house.

Your escape from this reality has finally come to an end,

You crawl back inside of yourself as another lousy day starts to begin.

You wipe your face as you exit the house because no one can know your fears,

But throughout the day even though u seem strong,

- Inside you still cry your silent tears.
