You Live To Die

Everyday you get one step to closer to reaching that inevitable end,

Tomorrow is now today, today becomes yesterday and it starts all over again.

Everyday you wish for a better tomorrow-And every tomorrow you wish for a better next,

And when it doesn’t happen you’re left dissapointed-You haven’t gotten what you

deserve yet.

Your expectations for a better future leaves you with constant disappointment,

Life has become filled with pain- And you become weak from the torment.

How is it fair to be treated this way- Every night you kneel and you pray,

Hoping and listening to hear God say- Tomorrow will finally be a better day.

But nothing is said and as the new day comes and then passes into the next,

Your faith becomes questioned for no answers have come- He has not given it his best.

Your pain is growing and you are left not knowing if he will ever hear your plea,

Every morning and every night you open your eyes and remove your surface disguise and

you begin to see.

Each new day brings the exact same pain- The only difference is that it’s intensified,

And in your vision you see a head on collision- And realize that you only live to die.

that poem was amazing...i can relate...things never go right...when things start to go ok, what happens?...life takes it away from you...things go downhill, and every day i get weaker and weaker, so much that i've wanted to kill myself, and thats the ultimate weakness...but yah, that poem was great
