(UN)-Conditional Friends

I'm sick and tired of people just using me,

Never hear from them when they alright- They start to struggle,

And they abusing me- Like friendship isn't a 2 way street.

Do I call on them in my times of need?- No I don't,

But that part they don't see.

My phone rings off the hook when times are bad- Whenever they mad,

Or someone made them sad- Spilling their heart to me,

Like I'm the only friend they have- And it's so hard to be,

Or to even act like I care- Sometimes I think I do,

Then I realize nothings there- Not one feeling of care.

But they aren't aware- They just talk and talk and ask for advice,

I'm thinking in my head- "Just get a life"

And don't call me twice- Or 3 times in one night,

'Cuz you and your boyfriend had a fight- That's not right.

I don't hear from you in 3 weeks and suddenly we're tight?

I'm sitting there like- WTF are you thinking,

And don't call me up when you get lost in life,

No I can't help you find your way- I don't care if that's right.

Yeah that's right- I don't give a fuck about you,

The same you act like you don't care about me too.

Damn, who knew- That it'd come to this,

I am sorry people- But I am not your friend.

When you call me more often- Other than when you hurt,

Or when I can call you up and ask you how to make things work.

Maybe when you understand me- And you comprehend my life,

Maybe then we'll be friends- But until then we are not tight.

I feel ya on this gone thru similiar myself.
Then it occured to me that I do the same to some of mine, not intentional just the way it works out. And it made me realize that being there when they needed me was what our friendship was about, and that was alright with me. Not comparing me to you, just sharing an experience.
Regardless your writing on this is up to the standard I've come to rely on. ooops lol.

Stay cool dawg.
