There once was a man named Pete

The nicest man you'd wanna meet

When he was told his cholesterol

Was dangerously off the wall

Pete decided he'd no longer eat meat 

To his principles, Pete remained true

If he met someone new, what would Pete do?

Meat was something he was no longer eating 

Didn't want to divulge that upon first meeting 

Wouldn't say 'Nice to meat you', he'd say 'Glad I soy you'
