There was a prim and proper lady named Mae

Who would say to herself every day 

'Mae, you ain't getting no younger 

Inside I have a great hunger 

To meet my soulmate and marry him, ok?'

On a blind date, Mae met a man Ted 

Ted was everything Mae ever wanted

Told Ted who said 'Mae, that's great!

With you have a strong urge to mate'

Mae said 'No way, Ted! You must wait till we're wed'
