Howie Rose, who has been broadcasting NY Mets games on the radio since 1987, is retiring at the end of the season. He also broadcast NY Ranger and NY Islander hockey. He is known for his signature phrase 'Put it in the books!', said after a Mets victory. Happy retirement Howie Rose!
