There once was a man named Ted
Who lost all his money to Ed
Ed was running a scam
He said 'That's who I am
I'm a scammer, the man who scammed Ted'
Ted knew where his money went
Ed got it, but it was already spent
Ted said 'He took every penny
Didn't leave me with any
I have no money to pay my rent'
Ted's landlord Vic said to Ted
'I don't care that you got scammed by Ed
The rent you must pay
You must find a way
Or else Ted, you'll be evicted'
Ted said 'Vic, you can't evict me
I'm a victim of Ed, don't you see?
Since I am the victim
Don't evict me, evict him'
Vic said 'Who's Tim? Lives here? News to me'
