There was a shy teen named Jack
Social engagements with friends he did lack
It was so sad
It made him feel bad
At making friends Jack did not have the knack
One day Jack checked his email
Saw one sent by a classmate, a female
Said 'To my party, here's your invite
At my house this Saturday night!'
Jack was so delighted, he'd be there, without fail!
Jack was so thrilled to be in this situation
Maybe it was over-anticipation
He showed up for the party on Friday
It wasn't till the next day, so why? Hey
Must've been a case of premature Jack elation!
