Lunch with Nate and Sal

Two pals, Nate and Sal happened to meet

One day walking down the street

Nate said 'Sal, how are you?

Are you hungry? Me too

Let's go get something to eat'

So to the diner they both did go

There's a lot to choose from there, you know

But since they both were having a big dinner that night

They decided to eat light

Nate ordered a salad, Sal, just a baked potato

After he finished eating, Nate was mad

Told the waitress what he had was bad

She said 'Sorry, you're angry

What do you want from me?

Nate, shoulda, oughta..what salad?'

What the waitress said, is there any confusion?

So this poem can reach its conclusion

The last line that the waitress said

Should not be read that way, but instead

Say 'Nate, should've ordered what Sal had'

The solution!
