When a song came on, I knew it
As soon as it began to play

I'm sure you do, a super hit
Dionne Warwick and some other superstars
Who were singing it
They sing 'For good times and bad times
I'll be on your side forevermore'
I hate that line, I'll tell you why
It's a line I don't adore
My wife and I, we share a bed
Guess I shouldn't complain
She likes the left side of the bed
Me too, it's become a pain
Every night she does what is the worst
She distracts me, then she gets into bed first
When I ask 'Why you always do that for?'
She says 'Love you hon, I'll be on your side forevermore'
It makes me very sad
I really am bereft
Don't like sleeping on the right side
I prefer the left
I'm so very disgusted
May soon be sleeping on the floor
