I have a friend, her name is Gail

Today, she sent me an email

She'd been working in a retail store

But she don't work there any more

The store she worked in was Motherhood

Gail said the job was good

As you may be suspecting 

Motherhood sells clothes to those who are expecting 

Gail said they closed her store Tuesday morning

It happened without any warning

It happened so quick

She got a little sick

I told her, even though you said business wasn't good

I don't think they closed for good 

I told her what I thought the cause

They needed to take a pregnant pause

Also, wasn't surprised you got sick that morning

You were in mourning for a job you lost without warning

It happens to a lot of women in that condition

It's called morning sickness, and in addition

You should know your store had to close its door

Maternity doesn't last an eternity, what's more

If you want a store that will never close, you know the one

Also sell womens clothes, will stay open forever, Forever 21!
