Omg! I'm so upset

Here's the reason why

I saw the message on my phone

I think I'm gonna die

My daughter sent a text to me

It's here in black and white

She said her husband's left

She thought that he was right

I know they've had their differences 

I know they'd sometimes fight

I don't understand one thing

Why would she think he's right?

I'm gonna have to call her

My support right now is critical 

Hold on..I just heard from her

Their differences? Political!

Her husband didn't leave her

Read her text wrong, that's right

She used 'left' meaning liberal

Conservative means 'right'

Should not have gotten so upset

Should know 'This too shall pass'

Though if you're too far left or too far right

You're still a pain in the ass!
