I know a couple Kate and Clarence
A couple of wonderful parents
Every day they always say
Something that's readily apparent
'We're the proud parents of two terrific boys!'
They'll shout so all can hear
But something isn't right
Something's not right here
It's come to my attention, something
I wouldn't mention, wouldn't dare
Mention to Kate and Clarence
Though of course they are aware
I don't want to talk too loud
Or make a lot of noise
But Kate and Clarence who are so proud
They have more than two boys
They have another son
Who shall remain unnamed
It's apparent they're not proud of him
They're obviously ashamed
The next time you chat with a husband and a wife
And they start to tell you of their great family life
Think of Kate and Clarence
Who give the appearance they are terrific parents
Appearances can be deceiving
Be careful who you be believing
As hopefully this poem about
Kate and Clarence makes apparent.
