Does it ever end, NYT?

Ladies and gentlemen, I bring to your attention yet another wacky headline in today's NY Times:

https://www.nytimes.com/2023/05/27/world/europe/ukraine-tanks-counteroffensive.html

Just a second. You would think the last thing the top commander of Ukraine would want to do is to tip off the Russians when the counteroffensive will take place. I would think catching them by surprise would make the attack much more effective.

If that's so, why is he telling the Russians it'll be in a minute? It makes no sense! And another thing. I've previously noted the Times should create a proofreading dept. If they haven't already done so, I would strongly suggest they do so ASAP. The headline should be the counteroffensive is 'in a minute', not 'imminent'. You don't even need a proofreadiing dept. Use Spellcheck!
