I recall, it was back in the day

I never liked to learn 

I would throw my books away

That would get me so excited 

Therefore, it's my honor here today

As the Governor of this state 

To light this match in my hand

And get the fire ignited 

Start burning, stop learning

It's the way that things are gonna be

For sure, what good are books for?

I'm yearning, believe me

For the flames to rise more than before 

Just like Germany
