Re: Oil price caps. NYT

Here's another comment that I submitted that The NY Times rejected. If I didn't know any better, I'd think someone there doesn't like me. I'm at a loss to explain why they don't accept any of my comments anymore. Have I been blacklisted by the NY Times?

The headline of this story should serve as a reminder to us all that caps, no matter what their size, can be extremely dangerous. The playwright Tennessee Williams died from choking on a cap which he either swallowed or inhaled. It was a bottle cap, the type found on nasal sprays and eye solutions. (click link for details).

Now, we find out an untested oil cap has helped choke revenue to Russia. I'm not a fan of Russia, in my opinion Putin is a madman who must be stopped. But this is unacceptable. Why wasn't this cap tested? We waste so much money on God knows what. Give the FDA what they need to ensure this doesn't happen again!
