Sometimes, if I'm stuck on a puzzle or something, I put it down for a bit and then come back to it later.

If you feel like that, I suggest that you put your phone or whatever you use down and take a short break. If it's a nice day, go outside for a walk. Look at the clouds.

The problem might be you're only looking at it from one side.

Try looking at it now from both sides. 
Look at me! I'm giving you advice which didn't work when I tried it.

Yes, I took a walk outside, looked at clouds, came back home and looked at it now from both sides. As I recall, I really didn't know the answer, at all!

Maybe I shouldn't have looked at both sides now. I probably should have waited an hour or so.
