Let’s talk Turkey

Things are very tense in Turkey right now. Today was Election Day here.

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who's been leading Turkey since 2003, faces a tough opponent in Kemal Kilicdaroglu. This election is seen as pivotal. Edrogan is less friendly to the US and Western allies. It's too early to tell who's leading at this point.

Hmm, I wonder if their names will give us a clue. First, we'll ask a supporter of President Erdogan. Excuse me, sir? What are your thoughts tonight if you think of the Presidents full name?

  RECEP TAYYIP ERDOGAN  =  'E PARTY? A RECEPION? G-D. Y??

And let's hear from a supporter of his opponent. We understand you've just left a party for Mr Kilicdaroglu. How was it? Is it true Ru Paul was there? Please respond in the same way as the supporter of President Erdogan did, using only the letters of your candidates full name.

   KEMAL KILICDAROGLU  =  A! I LIK, K? RU CAME. G-D! LOL!!

We can't call an election based only two people, but hearing their responses might tell you that President Erdogan may be in for a long night. Keep it tuned here for any new developments...
