To shoot a young man my grandsons age

This awful story isn't new to us
A young man shot because he's black
Surprised the media still makes a fuss
Over another maniac
Let's face it
A racist
When all is said and done
We cry
Offer our thoughts and prayers
While deep down feeling that no one cares
Will we see justice or see none?
