Tsunami
A precious little baby,
all of a sudden, she's alone.
No mommy, no daddy,
she's left to fight on her own.
Her parents are gone,
both of them were swept away.
Who would've thought a tsunami,
would hit that December day.
When the waters receeded,
and she floated ashore,
a neighbor breathed life back into her,
and now she's not alone anymore.
Wonderful write. My heart goes out to those people. It is amazing that politics gets in the way of relief efforts.
