When

When our sun has set,

Lighting skies and shading trees,

And the only thing you're feeling

Is the warm and constant breeze;

When the sorrows of your past

Fade away with gentle ease,

I will lay alive for you,

And wonder where you are.

When the lives we've chosen call us

far away to foreign seas,

And the new love that you're seeking

Comes and brings you to your knees;

When the trust you've built is broken,

Hurting stars to hear your pleas;

Remember my love inside you

I fear you will never see.

I love this poem, it is so beautiful; especially the line, I will lay alive for you....
