The Reflection In Your Eyes

Quiet

Us

Alone in our selected sanctuary for solitude.

The daylight begins to graze between the blinds in the windowpane as I gaze into the reflection in your eyes.

Blue eyes of a mysterious hue with a slight haze of gray, surrounding two of the blackest of black pupils.

Blue eyes making me smile, making you smile in return, and you kiss my lips to thank me for the silent complement.

My hands rubbing your back that warms your body in this somewhat drafty room, as I gaze in the reflection in your eyes,

Gaze at the mirror image

Of me

Smiling back at me with blissful content...

No, thank you
