Your love is something I never thought I would find
Till the day our eyes met,
I had someone else who broke my heart in pieces
You listened to me and you saw me cry;
You showed me something that no one else could
One day you asked me why don't you do what your heart says is right,
So I left my life that was all full of hate and anger
But yes I still saw everything in black and white
My life was still full of hurt and guilt and shame,
You told me that things would be all right
Once I learned to rebuild my heart,
Which I thought was unfixable
I looked in your blue eyes and found the caring and love that I longed for,
You showed me that there was color in my life
I realized one night when you where holding me close,
That you rebuilt my heart and you sold it and locked it away
In a place that is safe from all harm
That is what all I got when I heard you say I love you
