We stay here

with the clock ticking,

we make no decisions

we might not regret,

we make every decision

and leave them all behind us when dawn breaks.

I sit here on your skin,

hang worlds from the corners of your mouth

and now we are a mountain,

I can taste the snowcaps,

depending on the day we are summiting

or drowning in the floods below us,

every moment brings a new wave

sometimes I ride it and

sometimes I collapse.

can control the ride it is hard to control the emotions

it is more of what we hide that causes waves upon oceans
