Lift Me Away

you’re the back and forth

pressure, melody

of movement

you’re the agony

piercing my reverie,

but still the ice melts

you’re the flawless imperfection

of that touch

two hearts linking

you’re the heaven and hell

of something

I shouldn’t want

you’re the silence and the sound

of the rainfall

on the windowsill

you’re the rhythm

of my heartbeat

lift me away

you’re the agony

piercing my reverie

… gee, I wouldn't want anyone piercing my reverie. When I'm lost I'm lost and when I'm diving deep I really like to stay in those places for as long as I can – just to vacuum up all the little bits of debris on the ocean floor, because you never know – there might be gold and gems mixed in with the rubbish. And you wouldn't want to leave that behind. So when I'm diving deep – I take everything. And that requires no distractions till I've resurfaced. My two cents on the matter anyway.

true, I'm not sure what

true, I'm not sure what happened with this one. It's more like the person is always in my thoughts no matter if I'm diving deep or not. Thanks for taking time to read!
