Darkness covers a world of pain
Light shows those who cry in vain
Dying flowers start to wilt
The world that we know starts to tilt
Darkened shadows break free
Close your eyes so you shall not see
The destruction we possesed
I know that I confessed
To knowing technology wasn't the key
But still let it destroy all of us and me
As the darkness covers my decaying skin
I realized, mother nature always wins
