I often talk about this new world

That is so sweet and secure

This world is inside you

And it's pure

There is a downside though

That I dare to speak of

This new world

Can be dark and unforgiving

This world will trap you

To your very core

You think you're I'm heaven

But the darkness you really want more

You walk everyday

With a smile on your face

But deep down inside

You plead your case

With every fiber in you

With every molecule

With every thought that passes

You begin to be the fool

A thousand masks

You start to wear

Hoping no one sees

What you dare

This darkness takes a toll

For fighting it

You will see

That in the end you have a hole

Oh how you wish

You never met this world 

That is so sweet and secure

The one that is so pure

So laying down you go

Taking your last breath

For this world has consumed you

So there's nothing left but death
