Never knew what I was tryin to find

Never knew if it was just all in my mind

Spent so many nights turning..

Never was one much for keeping time

Spent all of my days learning..

Never learned nothin but rythm and rhyme

But one day, life changed, I had a reason

Met you girl, but I thought fate was a teasin'
