Just Another Day Without You

I woke this morning, just a little older,

and everyday seems just a little colder,

and the memories come strong sometimes,

when i see your face, or write these rhymes,

a picture is a thousand words, fit into a few lines,

still it never gets any easier, it's true,

everyday's just another day without you,

in some dreams we met again, spoke for hours my friend,

couldn't believe how fast time went,

and before i knew it, my time was spent,

but i'd give anything, kill anyone,

to see your face, and stand there stunned,

just to chill, maybe smoke a bowl,

to ease the pain, to fill this hole,

maybe you left for a reason,

but there's so much pain in leaving,

till i die, i won't stop grieving,

and all the memories continue pleasing,

they give me the strength to keep breathing.
