I do not know the reason why
My heart desires you so.
There has to be an explanation
But my mind does not really know.
We have almost nothing in common,
We have nothing that we share.
To you the things that I admire
Aren’t even worth a stare.
You like the weirdest things.
Those things just aren’t for me.
And you have the ability to see things,
Things which I cannot see.
But you’re heart does captivate me.
As does you’re glorious mind.
You are very thoughtful very observant.
Generous, sweet, kind.
Those glistening brown eyes of yours
Penetrate my soul.
And that strong embrace of yours
Makes my life feel whole.
But we can never be together
You have your life and I’ve got mine you know.
I’m broken now, not knowing why…
