Numb

Folder:
Winter 02-03

I stretched out on my bed

My pillow still held your scent

And brought me back to a moment

Where time collapsed and hung

Where I looked into your eyes

And you stuck your tongue out

While I tightened my arms around you

So nothing could get in

A moment that should be but so brief

That it remains special and craved

Like the curves

And the smile

And the gaze

And that sweet aroma

That still remains on my pillow

Relaxing my entire being

And i would think of how great it feels

Had my mind not been softly numbed already

By a memory so pure, nothing can taint it
