Lost Love

Folder:
Poems

We take such a harmless stroll,
the wooded area takes it's toll.
The light of the day fades fast,
this tree before we have passed.

Lost in this forest of darkness at night,
I'll never leave your beauties sight.
I take your hand deep in mine,
and take you along waiting for a sign,

Chills start to settle in we see,
I pull you close into me,
Embarrassment slowly dies,
As we stare longly into each others eyes.

The night wears on as your deep in my arms
We keep staring as we fall for each others charms.
We lean in ever so slow as the wind begins to hiss,
Our lips meet in this wooded abyss,

The moon breaks high above,
as it shows the first signs of love.
the warmth of each others breath,
keeps us out of the reach of death.

Morning breaks but we stay,
our hearts have been lead away.
something we never knew could be,
but our souls have been lead to see.

That on that windy night,
We gain our true sight.
As we look into each others soul,
we stand up hand in hand and take a loving stroll
