My room is littered with
Pages, filled, and not
Like a large litter basket

And my mind
With rage and impotence
All of it
At a singular source
A tempest aiming for its own eye

I am nothing
If not loathsome

And so when despair speaks
It steals my words
Good words, mind
I don't need to listen.
