'Cross The Ocean

Funny how sixty eight inches

Will never equal three

thousand

miles

Or for that matter

How twenty four hours

Never really makes a day

Unless you see every one of them

The great sin of man

Will always catch you

There's a reason why

The Great Wall still stands

No one dares climb it

There's also a reason

Why it was built

No one dared stop

But on which side of

The Wall

Do you fall

That's the part to ponder

At least slaves have drivers

Their dreams don't interfere

with reality

As for me

An ownerless peon

Uncle Tom would be proud

I only hope

After it all

You'll be proud too.
