To Find Peace

I wish for a world of my own

and I wish for a world to let me in.

Peace must be fought for

how sublime it would be to have both.

What's behind my door may be my own thrown

filled with pent up passion somewhere behind it.

But it is a refuge I have earned

So that I may step out at my leisure

once I've had my fill of meditation

and I may not stay as long as you wish,

but that is my need and what I have earned.

I want a sense of freedom and one of togetherness,

I want a world free of disappointment...

I want a world I do not have to question.
