Being “young”
Everyone has gone through life
And just because I’m older then you
Doesn’t mean I’m better then you
Nor does it mean I’m smarter then you.
I have chosen paths that have lead me
to where I stand right now
And so have you.
We all learn in a different way and the only scale we can compare it to
Is this short little thing called life
Whether I’m shorter, younger, dumber, smarter or more sophisticated
Doesn’t mean I have learned all my life lessons
So next time a person tells me
I’m dumb because I’m young
It’s not true.
Iv just walked a different path
And so have you
So respect the fact that I’m young
But don’t try to define me by that.
