+ 2ND POEMS: On Proverbs 3:5

. . . lean not unto thine own understanding . . . .

Proverbs 3:5

I belong to the Lord of Love, mercy and peace;

and He leads me in the path of abundant life.

Therein, he quietens my spirit's strife,

and bids all my eternal conniptions cease.

I dare not lean unto my own understanding:

for, there, faults and fallacies become too demanding;

faults and fallacies, insidious and malign.

for which I am, solely, responsible . . . for they are mine.
