Footnote: Personal Perspective On History, 3

You fear that we will

have to "throw away" Bibles?

Christ!, the earliest

Christians lacked our Bible; but

they were BETTER than we are.

Author's Notes/Comments:

Lest misreadings occur:  I am not advocating a voluntary abandonment of the Bible.  I love my King James Bible, and cling to it fanatically.  But I am enough of a student of history to understand that the early Christians did not have the Bible, as we know it; much less the King James Version's English; and they were far better, spiritually, than we are; and their faith and witness to Christ is what, in God's design over time, became our New Testament.  If you think the Twelve Apostles, and the Apostle Paul, had a complete New Testament, you have watched too many movies.
