Just five months and a few days to the day
when we will, once more, have a severe selection,
hoping that sense and dignity make way
some two years hence for a LANDSLIDE rejection
when public office will be rid---rid fully---
of its immaturest playground bully;
and, on the headlined day after, desired
so long, bold voices will proclaim, 'YOU'RE FIRED!"
