Alone
why is it that no matter how many people are around you
you still can feel alone?
how is it that no matter how light something seems
a dark can always be shown?
how can people say the most hurtful things
but in the nicest tones?
why do they say that words can't hurt you?
it often feels they CAN break your bones
I guess the inner workings of a person
can never be known
thats why no matter how many people are around you
you can still feel alone
man i can really really relate to this poem becuase i feel the same way a lot of the time and there always seems to be no way of escaping it.
keep up the great work, keep the faith and things will get better in all due time, keep smiling, and never give up.
that poem is as true as it gets.
it speaks from reality most definetly.
