as she feels the whisper

across her skin

a turning point in her life

the moment of truth

that cuts like a knife

the final discovery

the peace from acceptance

she is able to see

not hard for her to understand

now she will change

but alone she will stand

she can make it on her own

based on the truth

that shes been shown

nothing to stand in her way

accepts the new light

hope for the new day

she will not cry

for she is strong

she will get by

fresh new start

she has accepted

with a change of heart
