I Lived
Bound by reality to the realm of lifeless lives,
And soulless souls that wept,
Faceless faces whose denials echoed to eternity...
Far from those careful lies, I slept.
Then the rays of unknown beginnings woke me up
As tears of angels bore on me down,
For it was the day soils and souls were to be merged
And I had to hold up high my crown.
So I opened my eyes to the golden truth of life,
And a sigh of relief I heaved.
For the world was every inch the paradise I was promised of,
Every inch so wonderful; and I Lived.

I can see a lot of feeling was put into this.

Young friend in the twilight of my existence.
Young friend in the twilight of my existence,
Long path to travel ere yah blaze a trail.
What I did in my wee lifetime was
trying to empty the ocean with a small pail
I toiled and toiled the rain refilled the sea
'twas then I decided to set sail on the water
Sailed and sailed for decades on end
Seeing the beauty of the sun,moon ,stars
Lost I drifted .. my sail ripped apart by time
On the god-forsaken land I now dig
With my bare hands whilst waiting for the bell
Announcing the end of my search and wobble
