Is there nothing truly sacred

between life's crevices?

i used to think you and me

were everything we ever could be

couldn't have wanted more 

now everyday my wrongness

haunts me.

You pulled the brightest parts of me 

and stuffed them in your pockets,

beaming with satisfaction

and I, quietly fulfilled 

kept you in my heart

a living locket.

yet here I am,

so lost and lowered,

Waiting for you at your insistence 

with your fool's paradise 

breaking strands of ssanity as 

I wait, contemplating loss

At Irony's persistence.

Nothing here,

just an iillusion;

a ship of fools 

and a game of delusion.

I can't play anymore.
