So the day is winding down,
I take a moment to just breathe.
This is the time when
the sun lays its heavy head
On the pillow of the horizon
Sinking under the covers of night
And my thoughts turn to you
as each twinkle of a star appears
Another memory brightens my mood
Alone a glass of warm red merlot,
A kiss with each sip, taste of our
Melting amber gold kiss on deep red
Velvet passions. The boldness of your move,
Mirrored in the oily reflection
of the wine in the sinking light
And the strong heady flavour
Of the lingering after burn of
Embers aftertaste. The effect
Runs through me the same stirring from kiss to
Lip from lip to thigh sweet loins
budding bead of heat with longing,
I smile, with a twinkle in my eye
A warm hand on my shoulder,
A kiss gentle brushes my nape
What are you thinking of lover?
His words take me by surprise,
I look up and smile.
I don't tell him about you.
